Johnson Mwakazi Quits Citizen TV

Citizen TV’s notable news anchor, Johnson Mwakazi’s tenure at Royal Media services is coming to an end if recent reports are anything to go by. According to Ghafla, Mwakazi has already handed in his resignation letter and is currently serving his one month notice.
The Royal voice, as he is popularly known for his distinct voice, has been at Royal media services for 8 years. He started off his journey as a voice over artiste before joining Royal Media Services as a news anchor on Hot 96. While there, Citizen TV came calling and after an impressive screen test, Mwakazi landed the job of hosting the breakfast show, Power Breakfast.
Mwakazi will reportedly be leaving at the end of this month for a fairly new media house, Fountain Media. Details are still not clear on what post he will take up at the media house but keep it Nairobi Wire for more.
