Kanjii Mbugua Brings Jazz Festival To Nairobi

kanjiKijiji Entertainment has partnered with All That Jazz, to hold a one day jazz concert in Nairobi. The Fest is set to meet the growing demand for Jazz music in the country. The concert is to be held on April 30, and will coincide with the World Jazz Day commemoration. The International Jazz was set primarily on 30th of April by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) so as to focus jazz and its diplomatic role in unifying people from all corners of the world.
The jazz concert is expected to be an exciting and noteworthy experience.
“The Kenyan music industry lacks a strong jazz culture All that Jazz hopes to become this cultural centerpiece where Kenyans can enjoy indigenous jazz music as well as contribute to building the jazz culture in the region: a fact that will in the long run help cement jazz locally,” said Kanjii Mbugua, CEO of Kijiji Entertainment.
“Kijiji Entertainment’s partnership with All That Jazz is in line with the company’s ideals of developing cultural properties that will contribute to the growth of the cultural landscape of Kenya and the entire East African region,” he added.
