Manchester United Contacts Louis van Gaal About Replacing Moyes

Manchester United representatives have made initial contact with Holland coach Louis van Gaal about becoming manager in the summer according to ESPN‘s Miguel Delaney.
Reports suggest that Van Gaal’s desire to become manager ofTottenham Hotspur has lessened over recent weeks and that United have put out the feelers as a means to prepare for David Moyes‘ potential departure should results not improve.
Delaney said: “Sources also state that United representatives have made tentative contact with Louis van Gaal over a potential summer appointment, mostly to test the waters, and that the Dutch coach is a little less intent on the TottenhamHotspur job than he was a few weeks ago. Spurs had felt that Van Gaal’s appointment after the World Cup was virtually certain, but it is now more open-ended.”
Van Gaal will take Holland to the World Cup this summer and is strongly considered to be one of the best available managers this summer after admitting he wanted to manage in the Premier League.

He has won the league and domestic cups in four countries, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup, and has led Holland to a World Cup final, he’s certainly got the winning credentials required to be a Manchester United manager.
