According to Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Maurice Okoth, genge group P Unit are this months highest royalty earners.
Okoth was speaking during the official launch of P Unit’s l.o.v.e video on Thursday at the Best Western’s Level Eight Lounge in Nairobi. He indicated the quality of P Unit’s music was behind their success in getting big rewards.
“They have shown great resilience over the past few years. Their efforts are really giving them great benefits. They have shown no fear when it comes to making quality music and it’s getting rewarded in a bid way,” he was quoted by The Star.
He however could not disclose just how much these benefits were worth but with the quality production of l.o.v.e that was shot in South Africa we have no doubt that the all-boy group are getting it good.
