After 8 weeks of probation, radio interviews and lots of singing, Tusker Project fame wound up it’s 6th season on Sunday night.
Burundi’s Hope emerged the winner, brushing aside strong opposition from Uganda’s Daisy, Tanzania’s Hisia and Kenyan duo Amos and Josh.
The two Kenyans finished first runners up.
The annual competition brought together 6 East African countries, namely Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan.
Hope, the first Burundian to win it, will take home a cash prize of KSh 5 million.
Congratulations indeed.
