It appears that part of the contested Sh19,911,773 in Anerlisa Muigai’s loan case has been channeled towards the acquisition of a new sports car. Lol!

As you’ve probably already heard, the Keroche heiress is being sued for Sh19,911,773 loaned to her by a shylock in 2015.

The daughter of Keroche Breweries director Tabitha Karanja borrowed the money on diverse dates from Dennis Mwangeka, the director of a non-deposit taking microfinance outfit, on behalf of businessman Ben Kangangi.

Responding to the case, Anerlisa yesterday took to social media to explain how she was allegedly conned and blackmailed by the two businessmen, Ben and Dennis(who is married to KTN news anchor Linda Ogutu).

Anerlisa also denied that the wealthy Ben Kangangi was her boyfriend but a friend in a long Facebook post.

She wrote in part; “BEN KANGANGI had been my friend for over 5 years and NOT my boyfriend as stated. We met in a circle of young entrepreneurs who interacted frequently, giving each other leads and support. Ben being brought up from Mathare by a single mum and managed to hassled his way up from Mathare, I respected that. Ben sold cars. I even referred several friends to his car yard and within 2 years of interaction, I and other friends had even loaned him to expand his car business and he always paid back within a week or two.

One morning Ben called me and told me that he needed 20M for a tender he had secured with the government to supply electrical cables. That evening he also submitted original documents which until now I have not understood how he managed to forge the documents, So I told him i could only give him 7M but for the other 13M, he had to borrow from elsewhere.”

Meanwhile, the alleged conman in the case, Ben Kangangi, has just bought a Sh16 Million sportscar.

The seemingly unbothered wealthy businessman is currently waiting for the McLaren MP4-12C to arrive at the port from London.

An invoice seen by Nairobi Wire and dated March 2, 2018, indicates that Ben bought the ride for ‎£116,000 (Sh 16,479,412).

The ride is yet another pricey addition to Ben’s extravagant parking lot that includes a reported Sh64 Million Mercedes Maybach S 600 Avant-garde, Range Rover Sport, Bentley, Porsche.
