Kenya is a thieving nation that much we know. And as Kenyans continued to follow keenly the NYS scandal case, another ‘heist’ took place on Twitter that caught the attention of internet users.
The ‘robbery without violence’ happened when a Twitter user shared an unused Sh250 airtime Safaricom voucher with the intention of engaging other users is a guessing game.
The Kenyan on Twitter, Evans Bett, shared a photo of the top-up voucher whose last two digits were unscratched. He then asked his followers to guess the digits and win the airtime.
But as some users struggled to guess the numbers, a quick-thinking user provided Safaricom with the scratch card’s serial number and received the airtime.
