Gospel remixes are hard to come by in Kenya’s music industry but we finally have one that is the talk of the town.
Often maligned gospel musician Jimmy Gait has released a remix of his 2015 single ‘Kuna Day.’ He has incorporated Kelele Takatifu, Dj Ruff and fast rising star Ivlyn Mutua.
‘Kuna day’ symbolizes a day set by God for your breakthrough.
It is derived from the book of Ecclesiastes 3.11: He has made everything beautiful in its time
Jimmy Gait says: “In the time of God, all that you are waiting on shall surely come to pass. Hang on there, stay in faith and believe in God, and you shall not be ashamed.”
The remix has received positive reviews but it is upcoming songbird Ivlyn Mutua who has left a lasting impression for her brilliant verse, incredible vocals and electrifying dance moves.
