Yesterday, President Uhuru Kenyatta held talks with retired president Daniel arap Moi at Statehouse Nairobi.
From the press release, the two discussed regional peace initiatives following the just concluded ICGLR summit which made recommendations that would see an end to conflicts in the DRC, Central African Republic and the Sudans.
Uhuru is actively consulting the former president on different matters. Just recently, he paid him a visit at his Kabarnet home, at the height of the teacher’s strike. It was said he wanted his advice on how to handle the issue.
