Rapper Stevo Simple Boy(born Steven Otieno) has called on his fans and well-wishers to help his family lay to rest his late father.
Simple Boy lost his father Anthony Adera last week as announced by his management, Men In Business (MIB).
The ‘Haya Basi’ hitmaker says his dad was not sick even though a postmortem had not yet been conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
“My dad was not sick, he rested peacefully. We have not done the postmortem to know what killed him,” he said.
Stevo Simple Boy mentioned that his mother is slowly accepting the loss.
“She has been very weak but we are supporting her. I am requesting my fans to support me so I can give my dad a befitting sendoff. The budget is Sh400k,” he said.
Stevo also mentioned that it was unfortunate he could not fulfill his promises to his dad, who supported his talent.
“Ndoto ya kukupa mafanikio na nilizokuhadi zimedidimia nahisi Sana na kosa nguvu ila yote Tuachie mungu,” he wrote on social media.
Stevo also gave out his mobile phone number(0798800103) to fans who wish to support his family.
