‘Love is the morning that succeeds the night.’ That is the theme of the new smash hit by new kid in the game Mbithi alias ‘Kamba Boy’.
Titled ‘Boy’, the jam is a love duet alongside another promising and upcoming singer, Emma Cheruto. Mbithi is best known for his breakout collaboration with Kehmboi ‘Aye’, released about 8 months ago.
While Cheruto is best remembered for her remarkable cover of Nyashinski’s ‘Malaika’. The two new age artistes combine brilliantly in ‘Boy’, with Cheruto delivering smooth and mellow vocals and Kamba Boy doing what he does best.
‘Boy’ is produced by Jopeethechef and directed by Johnson Kyalo. It was mixed and mastered by Jazz Odongo, written by Mbithi & Emma Cheruto, and composed by Jopeethechef.
