When it comes to religion and running a successful church empire, the Kiunas reign supreme.

Bishop Allan Kiuna and his wife Rev Kathy Kiuna run the Jubilee Christian Church which they founded in 1998. The Kiunas claim that during that year, at a time of intense prayer, God spoke to them to begin JCC. They obeyed and the proof of that instruction has superseded expectations in all ways over the years.

Not only are the Kiunas incredibly wealthy but they also command a mammoth following with thousands of members and church branches both local and international.

To cope with this growth, the Kiunas have embarked on the next phase of their Christian journey; constructing a Cathedral.

An excited Bishop Kiuna broke the news on social media and shared a picture of a tractor breaking ground on an 11-acre parcel of land where the JCC Cathedral will stand.

More details about the upcoming cathedral remain scanty for now as the construction is still in its early stages but we understand it is being dubbed ‘Project Canaan’.

Bishop Kiuna wrote: “The work is on at PROJECT CANAAN where we shall build our Cathedral. It’s a beautiful piece of property that sits on 11 acres of land. Am excited about this next journey of Faith as we will again be witnesses of JEHOVAH JIREH The LORD our provider! We know by the grace of God we shall dedicate the edifice to the glory of God. We are building a prophetic legacy of PURITY, POWER AND PROSPERITY! Am just excited!!”
