After powering through her exhaustion to shoot her latest music video, Akothee was admitted in hospital again on Wednesday.
Following the release of her new song ‘Oyoyo’ featuring Nigeria’s McGalaxy, she revealed that she had no energy and was bedridden.
“I shot the video at a time when I was meant to be in hospital and on bed rest for exhaustion. Never stop believing in yourself. My fans should expect more hits and entertainment. After all, my life, your entertainment.”
However, her fans’ entertainment seems to have come at a cost after she was bedridden again barely a week after doctors prescribed bed rest.
Posting on social media from her hospital bed, the “Oyoyo” singer continued to defy bed rest orders and did what she knows best: entertaining her fans.
She posted a short clip as she danced to her new song with concerned fans, including Zari Hassan, urging her to take it easy for the sake of her health.
Zarithebosslady commented: “Take it easy ma. We still need you in one piece.”
