Bahati Launches Foundation to Take 20 Street Children to School Each Year

bahatiGospel wonderkid Bahati has launched a philanthropic foundation aimed at helping street children gain access to education.
The singer launched the Bahati Tena Foundation on Wednesday, May 4 on the streets of Nairobi. Through the foundation, the singer will be taking 20 street children to school every year.
“Today I had lunch with thousands of street kids from Nairobi as I involved them in launching my foundation – Bahati Tena Foundation. Glory to God I will be taking at least 20 street boys and girls to school each year,” Bahati said.
“I received the foundation certificates this week.”
The ‘Itakua Sawa’ singer added that he will also be establishing a children’s home in coming months.
“Glory to God again BAHATI TENA CHILDREN HOME will be starting in months Time. ALL I NEED NOW IS YOUR PRAYERS,” He said.
He revealed that he opted to start a foundation because he could neither adopt nor turn away the many kids who knock on his door every week.

“Before I became Bahati Tena I promised God when He lifts me up I’ll always remember where I came from. And always share with the Needy especially the Orphaned that’s why I chose to take care of Morgan,Rose & Purity despite of my Young age.
