“I’m the Girl Who Farted in Umoinner Today Morning…” New Site Lets Kenyans Share Their Deepest, Darkest Secrets

Some Kenyan has come up with a local version of insanely popular and addictive mobile app ‘Whisper’.
Basically, Whisper lets users anonymously share things they would not normally tell anyone. This can be anything from your deepest secrets to your darkest desires.
The Kenyan version is not an app but rather a website – Mysecret.co.ke. However the mechanics are the same.
Browsing through the content, the site has actually been around for several months but only started to show some chatter on social media.
As you would expect with the privilege of posting anonymously, the secrets are bizarre, gross, criminal and in some cases funny.
One girl in November let everyone know she was behind the discomfort of passengers at a certain Umoinner bus.

Some of the stuff going on here is straight from Maina and King’ang’i’s script.
