With Thanksgiving Day fast approaching, at least in other parts of the world, Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi has identified some of the things she is thankful for this year.
Never one to hide her public displays of affection for her boyfriends, Saumu took to social media Thursday to gush about her fiancé – Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip.
In a sweet romantic post dedicated to the lawmaker, Saumu Sonko listed six reasons why she is grateful for Anwar.
“Thank you for being you… for sharing your love with me, for inspiring me to accept myself, for helping me see the unique beauty in imperfection, for always believing in me and for showing me that love is something you do, something not just to be said but also to be shown,” stated Ms Mbuvi.
She further noted that no relationship is perfect but vowed to stick by her man if he does the same.
“I know no relationship is perfect but as long as we gat each other’s back then I’m willing to stay through anything Amorcito ❤️”
This comes days after Saumu opened up about overcoming a difficult past.
“Today I can proudly say I honor my past for being my teacher. I was just a young girl with a wild heart and didn’t know who to turn to. Every time I wanted to give up and say I had enough something in me couldn’t stop fighting, fighting for a better Saumu, fighting for my future, fighting for what I deserve …
“So many people tried to bring me down with words and my happiness was always their heartache. People would find ways just to bring me down ..but I knew what God placed in me was so special and I know he is not yet done with me…Life will always give you a chance, a chance for a new beginning, a chance for the best version of you and God will always be God, his love is everlasting, doesn’t choose your race nor your status. You can and will do this! Always remember that,” wrote Saumu.
