Kalekye Mumo is without a doubt the embodiment of radio in Kenya.
In July this year, the bubbly presenter and singer left Kiss FM after a decade because she was presented with a contract renewal she did not like.
“It was time to renew contracts and I did not like the offer they made so I decided to focus on other things that have been demanding my attention,” said Kalekye in August.
The other things she was talking about include her PR firm which signed a huge contract with Kericho Gold a few months ago.
On matters radio, the ever bubbly media personality has excited her loyals fans with news of her new radio home, What’s Good Radio (wgRADIO.FM), a subsidiary of online entertainment portal What’s Good Networks.
She will be hosting the ‘Live and Direct’ show once a week starting today from 10am to 12 noon alongside DJ Wabba.
On social media, Kalekye posted: “I ❤️ RADIO… it’s no lie!!#TeamKalekye you have begged me to get back, I have obliged… once a week kama dawa #LiveAndDirect on WGradio.FM just google and get online coz it different with crazy mixes by @Dj_Wabba 10am-12noon.”
