Kakamega High School flew its football team to Lodwar for a football tournament. The national school is one of the top high schools in the country, both in academics and sports.
It also happens to have one of the most vibrant, dedicated and wealthy old boys association.
According to reports, it is the old boys who facilitated the air lift to Nzoia Region Secondary School Ball Games in Lodwar.
“Courtesy of the Kakamega High Old Boys, we booked a flight for the team to arrive early, and acclimatise well with the hot conditions,” head coach Brendem Mwinamo stated.
The Green Commandos played their first match against rivals St Anthony from Kitale.
