Like they say, once a teacher, always a teacher. That saying rings true for Kericho county governor Paul Kiprono Chepkwony who on Monday put aside his status to teach chemistry to form four students at a school in his county.
The governor, a professor in Organic Chemistry, on Monday posted photos on Facebook as he taught at Kipsigis Girls High School.
The topic of the lesson was Moles and Molarity.
Prof Chepkwony has a Bachelor and Masters degree in Chemistry with a Ph.D in Organic Chemistry.
He was a lecturer at Moi University since 1999 after starting out as a graduate assistant and assistant lecturer at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
