A traffic police officer was arrested on Thursday afternoon by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission(EACC) officers for taking bribes.
The cop was nabbed along the Kutus-Kerugoya road as his two other colleagues fled. Bundles of cash, believed to have been a whole day’s hoard were recovered from the officer.
He had reportedly collected a total of Ksh 22,550.
