sonkoNairobi senator Mike Sonko seems to have found himself reliable spiritual guidance in reverend Lucy Natasha.

The two made headlines last week when the popular pastor made Sonko give his life to Christ. As it turns out, that was just the tip of the iceberg.

On Sunday, Sonko was accompanied by the reverend to his rural home in Mua Hills in Machakos County for a prayer session at the grave of Sonko’s late dad, Gideon Mbuvi.

Sonko wrote on social media,

Sometimes we go through things we just don’t understand. Through it all, we must learn to keep our faith and trust that God is in control, even when life is not going the way we planned or hoped. We all experience setbacks, pain and regret at one time or another. But it’s in those moments that God can refine us, and through Him, every struggle can become our opportunity to reach new levels of destiny, blessings and victory We weren’t created to live a small life with little goals, little dreams, little influence. God created us to live an abundant life. No matter where you are, you’re not supposed to get stuck at that level and stay there. God is a God of increase. He has something bigger in your future.
