Deputy President William Ruto is making headlines again, not for his case at the Hague but for another incredible act of kindness.
Mr. Ruto recently made headlines when he offered to foot maternity bills for gospel singer Size 8.
On Wednesday, he was in Machakos County for the launch of Madre Ippolata Children’s Home Sustainability Fund in Masinga. While spending time with the children, Ruto was touched by the story of baby Nadia who was abandoned as a newborn and left to die. Baby Nadia was found buried and her body partly decomposing and has been under the care of Sisters at Madre Ippolata Children’s Home.
Through his Facebook post, Ruto revealed that he had made Nadia part of his family and even named her after his mother, Cherono.
