When it comes to news from Kenyans working and living in Saudi Arabia, the story has always been sad or tragic. Recently a video went viral of some Kenyan women who were detained in a detention centre in Saudi Arabia, looking sickly and depressed with the wish to come back home.
That portrayal of Kenyan women in the Middle East is however not always melancholic. Apparently some Kenyan women have found ways to deal with the stress of working for their employers.
A video has surfaced online showing how a group of 4 ladies get down when the master is away. They dress up in their employer’s turbans, put on some music and get jiggy with it.
I don’t want to give any spoilers but one of them even does the popular shoki dance.
