mwangiMany Kenyans love Boniface Mwangi, but a similar number loathe him, mostly those who think he’s fighting their man, tribesman or guy in the big office, and is on the West’s payroll to destabilize the government.

However, we must all respect him for having the balls to do what he does.

Yesterday, the activist took to Twitter to narrate his experience helping a pedestrian who had been hit outside T-Mall. I have witnessed a pedestrian accident, and I know too well that Kenyans just watch the victim as he/she dies.

That’s why I respect Boniface more after what he did. It’s sad that another life was lost, but if there was one or two Kenyans among the passing drivers like Boniface, this would have been different.

Most motorists fear helping victims because of the paper work involved, but what is life compared to paperwork. That could be you lying there, and you would not want paperwork to be the reason you died.
