KTN’s comedy show, ‘Mshamba’ could have a Ugandan version in the near future. The slapstick show has won the admiration for many due to it’s canny representation of a typical ruralite in an urban setting.
According to SDE, Mshamba whose real name is James Chanji, has been approached by Ugandan film guru Philip Luswata to have a Ugandan version of the show. The comedian could however not delve into the details but confirmed having been approached. It is believed the show might premier before the end of the year.
“It is true I have been approached to do a Ugandan Mshamba version. However, I can’t give details for now,” Mshamba revealed.
