Starting Tuesday, Kenyans and in particular loyal listeners of local radio station Kameme FM, contributed money to help alleviate the singers hefty hospital bill and raised Sh 3.2 million in a record 2 hours. The singer lost her newborn son about two weeks ago and her remaining newborn was admitted at the MP Shah hospital. As a result of the growing hospital bill, the singer sold most of her valuables until Kenyans came through for her.
By close of business on Wednesday, sh 6.2 million had been raised. Yesterday the president who is a big fan of hers chipped in with Sh 1 million for a total collection of Sh 6.2 million.
