The controversy over Uhuru Park took a different twist yesterday. The venue has been subject to contention as both Jubilee and CORD were said to have booked the venue for their rallies on Monday.

Majority leader Hon. Aden Duale has however come out and stated that has not made any booking for Uhuru Park. This comes hours after Nairobi governor Dr. Evans Kidero approved CORD to use the contentious venue.

Hon. Duale said that Jubilee has made no bookings for Uhuru Park, but are aware of a prayer meeting to be convened by all religious leaders on Sunday at the venue, where they are among those invited.
