The self proclaimed godfather of genge has been one of the most vocal artists in the country on the rights of Kenyan artists and he putting his words into action.
Through social media, he unveiled the team that will help in the fight to ensure Kenyan artists get their deserved royalties. Here’s what he posted:
“Performers Rights Society of Kenya (Prisk) Board of directors. We are about to unveil our new scientific monitoring system for music airplay so that we accurately pay out Royalties. Kindly make sure you declare your music with PriSk to get a digital stamp.”
The team includes Nameless, Idi Achieng, Ian Mbugua and R Kay among others.
