On Thursday last week, Easy FM re-branded to Nation FM. This was highly anticipated, but not many knew the re-brand would entail getting back to its original name.
Even before the week was done, the station was getting under fire for their new logo. The logo has been taunted as un-creative and even plagiarized. Different people weighed in on the logo some even branding it a ‘lift-off’ from a design picked up from the web.
Here’s a side-by-side comparison between the Nation FM logo and an image from Shutterstock.
Perhaps they paid for it, but NMG has a Sh4 billion war chest. They can afford a better designer.
Here are some tweets.

Are we going to sit here and assume that Nation FM didn’t copy paste a logo?

Easy Fm relaunching back to Nation Fm is a show of despair not to mention lack of ideas + The logo does even not rescue the situation.
