Diamond’s Wasafi record label has agreed to leave Ali Kiba out of their ‘shenanigans’.
Last week Wednesday, Ali Kiba uncharacteristically took to social media to reprimand Diamond and his team after being invited to perform at Wasafi Festival.
Kiba hinted at hypocrisy by Diamond as he held back on exposing the Wasafi boss for the things he has done against him careerwise.
UNIKOME. Mwanaume huwa anaongeaga mara moja tu sasa ukitaka nikuweke uchi watu wajue unayonifanyia hata kwenye hilo tamasha hatokuja mtu sasa tuishie hapo nakutakia tamasha njema @diamondplatnumz #KingKiba,” wrote Kiba.
Diamond’s manager Babu Tale has since responded to Kiba’s rant saying, “Amesema unikome, na mimi nimemkoma, hata kumzungumzia, tumemkoma,” he told Wasafi Media.
The talent manager also spoke about internal wrangles within the Wasafi camp, noting that life is not as rosy as many might believe.
“Maisha magumu. Mtu akikuangalia hivi nje, anaweza akasema these guys are enjoying their life. Tunagombana sisi team mzima.
Naushukuru mziki sana,” he said.
Tale recently scooped the Best African Talent/ Artists Managers 2019 award. He thanked his fellow Wasafi managers Salam SK and Mkubwa Fella.
