The First Lady of Kenyan hip-hop Nazizi Hirji is a super proud mum after her son Tafari Firoz met President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The 9-year-old Firoz had the honor of interacting with the Head of State during the 80th-anniversary celebrations at St Mary’s School, Nairobi.

Led by Chief guest President Kenyatta, the school’s former and current students came together to celebrate the school’s inception last Friday. The president undoubtedly stole the show as he turned up for the event dressed in full school uniform.

Nazizi’s son, who is a pupil at the prestigious institution, was among a group of current learners who had the privilege of helping the President in cutting the cake.

The veteran musician and radio personality could not contain her excitement as she took to Instagram to share the news with her online family.

“The president of my heart @tafari_firoz got to meet the President of Kenya yesterday. The celebration was #saintsat80 and yes @uhurukenyatta is an old Saints boy. Super proud mum,” Nazizi wrote.

During the school’s 80th anniversary hosted by Jeff Koinange, Uhuru invited the learners for a tour at the State House.

The president also called for the school’s infrastructure to be improved.

“Let’s put up credible framework to marshal resources to assist the school in improving libraries and other infrastructure. Institutions’ histories are kept alive by people,” said the President.
