Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Agnes Mbuvi has all but confirmed her rumored relationship with Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip.

The two were earlier this month attacked by a group of assailants at the Memphis Lounge along Thika Road near USIU, with the politician enduring all the beatdown in honor of his damsel.

Since then, speculation has been rife that the two are an item, with neither making an official statement about it. But on Tuesday evening, Saumu appeared to put all the rumors to bed with a sweet message for the recovering Lamu senator.

In a message posted to her Instagram, the mother of one thanked Senator Anwar for putting his life before hers. She also hinted at marrying the lawmaker as she addressed him as ‘future’.

“Hi Future, Thank you for putting your life before mine, For standing by me, Advising me and always being there for me …you will forever be my Bestfriend. Wishing you quick recovery hun,” she wrote.

Saumu Mbuvi also shared a selfie showing the Senator with battle scars on his head.
