How far baby Satrine Osinya has come!
His survival story is one that touched many hearts in the country and he instantly became the darling of the nation after surviving a terrorist attack that left his mother dead and a bullet lodged in his head.
Satrine would later undergo a successful surgery to remove the bullet that killed his mother before finding a loving home under Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and his accommodating family.
A little over four years later since the terrorist attack, Satrine has made great strides with the most recent being graduating from kindergarten.
Satrine graduated at Runda Oak kindergarten on Friday, November 2, and will be joining class one at the start of the next academic year in January 2019.
To celebrate the milestone, Governor Sonko made sure Satrine had a day to remember by throwing him a graduation bash.
Sonko shared pictures of Osinya’s ceremony and wrote, “Congrats Baby Satrina following your graduation. The devil thought that baby Satrin will not survive but God healed him and he became part of my family. To shame the devil who was already defeated 2000 years ago, today Baby Satrina has graduated at Runda Oak kindergarten. He joins class one.”
Satrine’s graduation comes just two years after his brother Gift sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and joined Lenana High School.
