Police in Kisii are holding five male students who were found hiding in a girls school.

According to police reports indicate, the KCSE candidates St John’s Nyamagwa Boys High School sneaked into St Mary’s Nyamagwa Girls High School and hid in one of the dormitories.

They were all found dressed in girls’ uniforms.

Confirming the incident, County Director of Criminal Investigations James Kipsoi said two of the boys were arrested on Monday night while three others were arrested on Tuesday.

Two of the students are said to have been released on police bond to allow them to complete their exams.

Mr Kipsoi said the boys will be charged with trespassing.

“They will be arraigned once they are done with their exams,” he added.

Police sources noted that there is no need to take them to court immediately because the boys’ offense was not related to the ongoing national exams.

Kisii County Police Commander Bernard Muli added that: “We have agreed that they sit their exams from home. We will present them in court once they are done with their exams and after carrying out further investigations.”
