Keri Hilson came to Nairobi, Kenya to entertain and inspire as a musician and mental health advocate but she leaves as a mom to a baby elephant.

The American R&B singer has adopted a 6-month-old calf at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which operates the world’s most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program.

The ‘Energy’ hitmaker was over the moon as she took to Instagram to share the news and pictures of the baby elephant named Kisia.

She wrote: “I adopted this beautiful orphaned elephant named Kiasa (Hilson ?) She’s the youngest at the orphanage, only 6 months old & still drinking milk. ? My adoption papers tell her story. I think she’s happy! #mybaby #newmom ☺?.”
