As you’re probably aware, the awards season is upon us. Over the weekend, Kenya’s most popular gospel awards ceremony – Groove – went down at the Kasarani indoor arena.

It had its fair share of the typical Kenyan gospel drama, orchestrated by Willy Paul, who gave his award to upcoming artiste Weezdom, formerly signed under Bahati’s EMB Records.

In the spirit of the Groove Awards, one question that lingers in most people’s minds is whether award winners receive a cash reward.

Well, wonder no more because media personality Cliff Harvest alias Chief Okuzo has the answers.

He ‘talked’ to several Kenyan musicians, including Avril, Khaligraph Jones, and here’s what he gathered.
