Kenya’s clown of the year, gospel artiste Alex Apoko alias Ringtone, is not yet done milking publicity from Diamond Platnumz’ break up with Zari Hassan in February.

Just when we thought his attention-seeking pursuit of Zari Hassan had ended after he was turned down last month, Ringtone has returned with an open letter to the Ugandan businesswoman.

Taking to social media last night, the ‘This Year’ hitmaker warned Zari against going back to Diamond.

“Dear Zari. You can’t continue reading pages of a book that you already know how it will end,” wrote Ringtone.

He further compared Diamond Platnumz to biblical Egypt, saying: “You left Egypt for Canaan it will be sad if you quit and go back.”

“What will happen to all the millions of girls who you told you building ZARI?”

Ringtone’s advice? “This is the time You need to seek the face of God. Go into prayer and fasting ask God to give you direction.”

He concluded by saying: “Meanwhile since we all know you won’t go back to Diamond we are not worried.”

Ringtone’s sentiments on Instagram were accompanied by a picture of himself seemingly making a call outside his home in Runda, Nairobi.

His letter comes in the wake of reports that the once ‘It’ couple was working towards reconciling after Diamond featured Zari in his latest music video for ‘Iyena’ featuring Rayvanny.
