As you’re already aware, former Tusker Project Fame winner Ruth Matete is set to walk the aisle later this year.
The gospel music artist, just like fellow Kenyan singer Emmy Kosgei, has been swept off her feet by a Nigerian man of the cloth.
“I hoped that God would bring me a man who would stay, someone who would understand my vision and he has finally answered my prayers as I am getting married this year,” announced Matete two weeks ago.
The man she is set to marry is John Apewajoye, a contemporary gospel music minister and worship leader better known as Beloved John.
On Sunday, Ruth Matete further confirmed that she’s off the market as she took to social media to show off her engagement ring.
She shared a picture of the diamond-encrusted ring and captioned it with lyrics of a Nigerian gospel song.
