VIDEO: Wahu Delivers Moving Gospel Hit Inspired by Nameless’ Life-Threatening Illness

April 12, 2018

Secular-turned gospel Kenyan songbird Wahu Kagwi has stayed true to her newfound salvation with the release of a moving new gospel hit.

Dubbed “My Everything”, the song is inspired by a true story. It talks about a woman who sought Gods intervention when her husband and father of her children suddenly fell ill, on an ordinary morning as the family went about their normal morning routines.

“At her point of desperation, and realizing that her husband’s life was on the balance, she called on Jehovah Rapha, God our healer to reveal Himself …. and He did,’ said Wahu about “My Everything”.

While she did not disclose that it was her personal testimony, it’s glaringly obvious that “My Everything” was inspired by Nameless’ life-threatening condition; subarachnoid hemorrhage, that he was diagnosed with late last year.

Small blood vessels in the brain had ruptured and blood had leaked into the area between the brain and tissue covering the brain. The condition can lead to permanent brain damage or death if not treated promptly.

Fortunately for the father of the two, surgery was not required and he only needed to be closely monitored in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).

According to Wahu, “God hears us, even when we don’t think He does.”

“He is no respecter of persons, personalities or positions. All He requires is an honest heart that seeks His face fervently. Sometimes, God doesn’t answer our prayers the way we expect, sometimes He does. But it is amazing to rest in the knowledge that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord.”

Watch “My Everything” below. It just might move you to tears.
