After weeks of hyping and raising the hopes and emotions of their loyal supporters, NASA on Sunday announced the postponement of Raila’s swearing-in, citing internal consultations.

The swearing-in of Raila as the ‘People’s President’ was initially set to take place on the same day Uhuru was sworn in but was later pushed to Jamhuri Day.

Following the postponement of the ceremony, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino chose to spend his time with his family.

The controversial first-time legislator has been at the forefront of NASA’s political agenda and must have been disappointed by the postponement.

He, however, opted to spend his Jamhuri day with family and took to social media to note that God and family come before anything else.

Sharing a clip on his Instagram as he played with his daughter at a playground, Babu on Monday posted: “This is what I’ll be doing tomorrow. Family second after God.”

The clip shows Babu Owino pushing his daughter on a swing, showcasing a cute father-daughter moment rarely seen from the MP.

Check it out below.
