Four suspected thugs were on Monday gunned down by police officers in Nairobi’s Donholm estate.
Two businessmen in the area suffered gunshot wounds and were rushed to hospital after they were caught in the crossfire between the gangsters and the police.
The suspects were said to have come fro Naivas Supermarket but were overpowered just opposite the PEFA Church.
The police had trailed the gang from Eastleigh in a white Saloon car whose plates had been concealed.
The officers were in plain clothes, and according to residents one officer was spotting dreadlocks, another was dresssed in an overall, and a third was in gumboots.
According to the eyewitness, two of the suspects were shot dead at Naivas Supermarket and the remaining two were gunned down outside PEFA church.
