David Mathenge better known by his stage name Nameless is easily one of Kenya’s longest-serving entertainers.
The hitmaker rose to fame in 1999 through a star-search contest on Capital FM which he won with his original song “Megarider.” In 2001, Nameless signed with one of Kenya’s longest-serving record label -Ogopa Deejays, and as they say, the rest is history.
For the two decades he has been in the game, the ‘Butterfly’ hitmaker has religiously adopted a trademark look that includes dreadlocks and a hat or d0-rag.
Perhaps you might have wondered what the singer looks like without his trademark look. You’re in luck.
Taking to social media yesterday, Nameless took his followers back in time after sharing a picture from two decades ago when he was disheveled and broke.
The picture was taken at his first job when he worked as a machine operator in an undisclosed factory.
He captioned the pic: “20years difference but Somethings don’t change…#laughoutLoud #biglaugh#mjengo #firstJob#factorymachineoperator #happysoul#stilllovedjuice #msichekepliz#thehusstlewasandstillisreal#mungumkubwa.”
