Controversial Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has yet again made a sensational claim that MPs should not be paid for the month of November.
The Gatundu South legislator, through his Facebook page, took a swipe at NASA affiliated Members of Parliament whom he alleges have absconded parliamentary sessions.
As a result, the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) committees are not in place, said Moses Kuria.
“Parliament went on recess again today till 29th November as NASA is yet to send its representatives to House Committees. The National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) committees are not in place as a result,” wrote Kuria.
With Parliament going on a break until the end of November, Moses Kuria reckons paying Mps will amount to stealing from Kenyans.
“The logical and moral thing for the Speaker to do is NOT to pay us our November salaries. Paying us would amount to stealing from Kenyans.
“Why pay us when we are neither working in our constituencies nor in parliament? Why reward me simply for staying alive?” posed Moses Kuria.
