Nairobi, November 1, 2017– A Diani-based luxury club at the Kenyan Coast is launching a fun filled Beach Festival to celebrate this coming December holidays. The event will be celebrated during the launch of the beach club dubbed “Diani Beach Festival” which will run from December 9, 2017 to January 2, 2018, at the Diani Beach Club.

Diani Beach, Kenya is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The aim of this project is to make Kenya great again and showcase to the world the incredible experience that this small beach town has to offer.

Diani Beach Festival promises to feature an extreme sports and entertainment festival running throughout the holiday period right on one of the most famous beaches in Kenya. The festival will be hosting a 10-day Skydive Boogie bringing together 500 people from over 32 different countries, Kite Surfing Competition, Water Sports, Kids Club Adventure week and an Air Sports Exhibition to name just a few.

The festival will also play host to a huge entertainment program incorporating international, regional and domestic talent. Among those on the line up include; Sauti Sol, Vanessa Mdee and Hed Kandi from the Ministry of Sound (UK) The venue is designed with vast restaurants offering international cuisine, Christmas shopping villages, bars, lounges, a pool retreat and Moët Hennessy VIP areas.

During this festival period, there will be approximately 22,000 people filling all the hotels in the area to capacity, from Nairobi and overseas, extending to over 250,000 visitors stretching through Mombasa and the rest of the coastal region.

The festival venue has the capacity to host 3,000-3,500 people and the aim is to have over 20,000 visitors throughout the month as well as to reach over 20M people worldwide.

The Diani Beach Festival has the potential to employ 250 members of the local towns and villages from now until the beginning of 2018, with over $3M injected directly into the local economy; this is a game changer for the area and Kenya as a whole.
