She made her mark in the music industry about ten years ago when she released the song ‘Size 8’ that went on to be a great hit and won her many plaudits.
From then on, Size 8 established herself as one of the top secular artists in the country and ruled the airwaves for about three years until 2012. She gave her life to Christ at the end of that year and in 2013 she released her first gospel single ‘Mateke’.
To detach from the world of secularism, Size 8 had to make major sacrifices including giving out everything she had earned from worldly music.
In an interview with Kiss FM, the reborn Size 8 revealed that one of the valuables she gave out was a car.
“When I started in the secular world I had to let go of a lot of things because I didn’t get them from the right channel. I was given a test to see if I will let go and follow Christ.
“The first thing I had to give out was my crown as Size 8..to bow down and say everything that I was doing was wrong,” said Size 8.
She added: “The only thing I held on was money and I used it all on my mother’s treatment.”
Size 8 also revealed that her husband, DJ MO, was so angry for giving out the car but he later understood.
