US-based Afro-soul Kenyan diva Mercy Myra is back like she never left.

Mercy, one of Kenya’s pioneer Afro pop artistes, has been missing in action since relocating to the U.S with then-husband, rapper Attitude. After a turbulent divorce process that was concluded in December 2015, Mercy Myra signed with Atlanta-based label, Nu Royal Records in 2016.

Since then, it has been a long waiting game especially after it emerged that Mercy would be working with Grammy Award-winning producer, Herman Little to create a “new” sound.

The wait is over and Mercy Myra has marked her mega comeback in style by tapping up the high-flying Khaligraph Jones. Their new collaboration is dubbed ‘Malo’ and it comes just a month after she featured on Feels Like Love single by Vicmass Luodollar.

Malo (which is Luo for ‘up’) is an anthem of encouragement for individuals all around the world to raise the standard of excellence and acceptance “higher and higher.”

Listen to ‘Malo’ below as we wait for the official video.
