Wedding bells are ringing louder for singer Cece Sagini and her fiance Victor Peace after the couple held a traditional wedding ceremony over the weekend.
The colorful ceremony saw a coming together of two Kenyan cultures -Kisii/Kikuyu – as families of both parties gathered to welcome the bride to the groom’s family in Ekeragerio/Ruracio ceremony.
The couple announced the new milestone in their beautiful love story through social media.
“Ekeragerio/Ruracio. Such a beautiful occasion when two families come together and there is good chemistry. We thank God that there was great chemistry and a lot of laughter. The handover was all sorts of emotions, especially when they changed me into this beautiful Agikuyu outfit,” wrote Cece.
The traditional wedding rite comes less than two years after Victor Peace, a Lifestyle photographer popular known for This is Ess blog photos, went down on one knee on live TV during Cece’s interview on the Trend.
