The house where Tom was arrested for forcing pupils to watch pornographic movies

A 45-year-old man from Nakuru County – said to be a pastor at a local church – has been arrested for forcing pupils to watch pornographic films and have sex with a mentally ill woman.

Reports indicate that Tom Mshindi, 45, has lured more than 20 children into the act by using sweets, money, sugarcane and pears.

The suspect, known to locals as Juma, was arrested by officers from Nakuru Central Police Station on Wednesday in his house at Railway Line estate where he was allegedly showing the porn films to the pupils.

After interrogation, the pupils, who are of either gender, disclosed that after watching the porn films, Mshindi would order them to practice the sexual acts on a mentally-ill middle-aged woman, who visited the house daily.

During an impromptu meeting at the popular Nakuru school on Thursday morning, several parents broke down in tears when the head teacher broke the news to them.

The school’s principal said that they came to know of the issue after one pupil failed to attend school, only for him to be traced to Nakuru Central Police Station having been rescued from a stall near Nakuru Level 5 Hospital, where he had spent the night.

Upon questioning, the pupil spilled the beans before officers launched a manhunt for the suspect.

Confirming the arrest, Nakuru OCPD Joshua Omukata said investigations into the matter are underway.

Mshindi has, however, denied the allegations saying he is a staunch Christian.

“I am a staunch Christian. I cannot involve other people’s children or myself in the evils I am being accused of,” he said.

The police boss said he will be charged once investigations are complete.
