American R&B Group Blackstreet Set for a Special Valentine’s Concert in Nairobi

American R&B group Blackstreet will perform in Nairobi alongside all girl trio Sisters with Voices(SWV) in a special Valentine’s concert at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on February 18.

Rebranded as BS2 (Blackstreet 2), the multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning group will jet into the country on February 16, the same day the all-female group will be landing for the Valentine’s Day treat.

The KICC Chief Executive Officer Nana Gecaga said they are organising two more international Concerts this year.

“We are excited to host this event, which marks another major milestone towards establishing KICC as a premier concert venue in the region,” said Nana Gecaga.

Ms Gecaga said the events are an effort to make KICC a vibrant venue just like all other iconic buildings around the world as well as leverage on the artists as brand ambassadors to market the destination.

CEO of Nimu Premier Event, Nimu added: “The show is a first of its kind in many ways. We are making this Valentine’s season extra special by creating the perfect romantic mood for you to fall in love again.”

Blackstreet is best known for their mega-hit ‘No Diggity.’

SWV is best known for classic R&B-pop hits including ‘Weak’, ‘Right Here/Human Nature’ and ‘I’m So into You.’
