Education cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i has been praised for his efforts to do away with examination leakages in the country.
For the past few years, KCPE and KCSE leakages found themselves in the hands of nearly every candidate even in the most remote counties.
When Matiang’i was brought in, he instituted measures that all but ended this practice. Yesterday, he pulled a first one by releasing KCSE results one month earlier than usual.
While the whole nation is praising the CS, some students were not happy that their hopes for getting questions in advance were dashed. A few weeks ago, two guys believed to be students composed a viral and vulgar Matiang’i diss song.
It was circulating all over Whatsapp as an audio, and most people didn’t know there’s a video.
I have to admit, if these two kids fail in their exams, they may have a future in music. (i.e if they are not just lip syncing to someone else’s song.)
